The Steel rolling and bending business began with John Florka in 1957 with the founding of ABC Roll Company. ABC Roll was located in Detroit, Michigan with one small roll machine. Richard Florka, Sr. began working at ABC in 1964. Through his hard work he realized that there was a market for larger rolling machines. He then opened A-1 Roll Company in 1980. It was located in Fraser, Michigan. While in Fraser A-1 Roll added a few presses and small roll machine. With demand increasing for larger structural shapes we decided to build a new 25,000 square foot building and order a larger machine. (The Largest in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.) 301 Church Street is now our new home.  We have 9 rolling Machines and 4 bending presses to serve North America and the world. We hope we can serve you.
